ERC Grant for Naoko Mizuno
Naoko Mizuno, head of the research group “Cellular and Membrane Trafficking” at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried, has been awarded a Consolidator Grant by the European Research Council (ERC).

With 2 Million Euro over a 5-year period, Mizuno’s research group aims to understand how cell shape formation is controlled using cutting-edge hybrid methods of structural biology such as cryo-electron microscopy and X-ray crystallography.
The ERC supports outstanding, creative researchers who convinced with pioneering scientific ideas.
