PhD Representation

PhD Representation

Currently, about 150 graduate students – coming from all over the world – are working at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Martinsried. The Graduate Committee represents all IMPRS-ML doctoral students at the MPIB and our partner universities (LMU and TUM). It was founded in 2001 and organises many social activities throughout the year. Their representatives work closely together with the IMPRS Coordination Team and the MPIB PostDoc representatives.

Graduate Committee

Our Graduate Commitee represents all our doctoral researchers at different levels:

  • The PhD Spokesperson of the IMPRS-ML represents all doctoral researchers on the IMPRS-ML Board.
  • The MPIB PhD Representatives represent all doctoral researchers within the MPIB and MPG-wide.
  • The PhD General Representatives are mainly responsible for organising social and scientific events in close cooperation with the other representatives.
  • PhD Departmental Spokespeople are the local contacts within the different research groups at the MPIB.
Please visit the IMPRS-ML website to learn more about the activities of the Graduate Committee as well as our current PhD Representatives. more
