HANS KARUGA – Reflexionen
Exhibition from 09.01.2023 to 24.02.2023. The exhibition is open to external visitors. Please note our current rules (see below).
The vernissage will take place on 09.01.2023 at 18:30 in the foyer of the main building.
From 09.01. - 24.02.2023 nature photographs by Hans Karuga can be seen with us, which show the special aesthetics of sun and light on the moving water surface of the Würm. Hans Karuga wants to draw attention to the beauty of nature from a new perspective, to open the eye of the viewer to an unknown world of shapes and colors. Taken at close range, just above the surface of the water, sunbeams laser wild lines and interference on dancing waves and clouds immerse the subject in soft contours and delicate colors.
At the right light in the right place - the photographs of Hans Karuga represent light pictures in the true sense of the word. Artistic - often abstract, the photos reveal hidden secrets when looking at yet actually known. Light and water, place and time - these are the central elements for Hans Karuga and nature is an almost inexhaustible source of his photographs.
Hans Karuga was born in Munich in 1961 and graduated in INDUSTRIAL DESIGN at the end of his studies at the FH Munich. He lives in Weßling and works independently in the field of lighting and light. Light builds the bridge to photography, which he has dedicated himself to with passion for years. As a designer, Mr. Karuga deals with lighting and light. Light is also an essential component of photography, to which he has devoted himself for years.
