Open Studio Lebensmut e.V. – “Es gibt Dich”

The art exhibition of the open studio of the association Lebensmut e.V. will be on display in the entrance area of the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry.

About the exhibition
The exhibition “Es gibt Dich” - is a cooperation project of the association lebensmut e.V., the Bavarian Cancer Society, the Munich Art Academy and the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and is realized with the kind support of the Munich Department of Culture.
Visitors to the open studio for people with cancer, their relatives and loved ones, show new works on paper and canvas by the participants.
A poem by Hilde Domin is used here as the title of the exhibition:
There is you:
You exist (...) you fell, but you don't fall / eyes catch you / you exist / because eyes want you, look at you and say / that you exist
A Midissage took place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 5:30 pm. Guests were Prof. Juliane Melches, Head of the Master's degree program in Visual Design and Therapy at the Munich Art Academy, Markus Besseler, Managing Director of the Bavarian Cancer Society, Anja Malanowski by proxy of Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Hiddemann on behalf of the association Lebensmut e.V., art therapy students and Prof. Katja Bonnländer who spoke about the creation of the exhibition. There has also been a small musical, poetic and culinary supporting program.

Opening hours and access to the exhibition
Mon-Sat and on Sundays and public holidays from 08:00 - 22:00.
Admission is free
