Guest House

The Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry runs its own guesthouse on its premises - only a few steps away from the main building and canteen. Here, single rooms and apartments (for a maximum of four people) are available for guests of the institute.

Each of the 23 spacious apartments, including 6 family rooms, has

•     a single or double bed (extra bed possible)
•     a desk
•     a large cupboard
•     a private bath/shower with hair dryer
•     a private toilet
•     a personal fridge
•     WLAN and telephone
•     Towels and bed linen

Some of the rooms are barrier-free (ground floor). All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

In addition, guests can use the following services:

•     two fully equipped common kitchens and a large dining room
•     a washing machine (for a fee) and a dryer (free of charge)
•     a spacious lounge with television and a large sun terrace

For permanent stays (up to three months) the rooms are cleaned weekly and towels and bed linen are changed.

Breakfast is not served in the guesthouse, but can be taken from 7:30 a.m. in the canteen opposite or in the cafeteria in the main building. For self-catering guests there are various shopping facilities within walking distance.

Guests can obtain their room key around the clock from the reception desk at the main entrance of the institute.
