MaxLab: Hands-on Science for School Students
The MaxLab is the hands-on laboratory of the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology at the Life Science Campus Martinsried. It provides courses for students and visitors of different ages. School classes are able to choose from four different courses treating scientific topics, all related to the current research at the institutes. Students are able to explore the fascination of life science through their own experiments. The MaxLab allows all visitors to gain practical lab experience and to get an insight into the work of a modern research lab.
The courses are designed for different levels of knowledge and are free of charge. Prior registration is required in order to visit.
