Leon Babl

Leon Babl

PhD Student

Leon is fascinated by the biochemical variety proteins have to offer. After studying enzyme kinetics in his B.Sc. at the University of Regensburg, he moved to the UK and got interested by protein self-organization. In his master, he investigated the propensity of proteins to form liquid-like entities and studied their biochemistry. To combine his interests in enzyme kinetics and protein self-organization for his PhD, he moved to Munich and is now studying the liquid-liquid phase separation of bacterial enzymes. Besides proteins, he has great interest in all kinds of alpine-style adventures!
