The Computational Biology group (Bianca Habermann) has moved to the IBDM in Marseille, France

1) HH-MOTiF (Prytuliak, et al., 2017): HH-MOTiF is our de novo motif prediction web-tool.  We combine hidden Markov model (HH-) comparisons with a hierarchical representation of identified SLiMs in motif trees. Due to extensive validation of motif trees, HH-MOTiF can find remotely conserved motifs in data sets with low-complexity regions or high redundancy.

2) mitoXplorer (Yim, et al., in preparation): mitoXplorer is a web-based platform that allows exploring mitochondrial interactomes in -omics datasets.

3) morFeus (Wagner, et al., 2014): morFeus is a program to search for remotely conserved orthologs. Based on relaxed BLAST-searches, it aims to find remote orthologs of sequence orphans.
