I am interested in the regulation of lymphocyte development and function via activation of the IkB Kinase (IKK) and Jun N-terminal Kinase (JNK) protein complexes and how deregulation of these signaling cascades causes lymphomagenesis. In addition I plan to investigate the role of T cell receptor-expression on immune-modulating regulatory T (TR) cells and lipid-recognizing NK-like T (NKT) cells. I aim to approach these questions through genetic loss and gain of function approaches in the mouse.
