Munich Airport: Or via "S-Bahn" S8 up to "Pasing", there change into "S-Bahn" S6 (direction "Tutzing" or "Starnberg") up to "Planegg" and then take the bus 266 (direction "Klinikum Großhadern") up to "Max-Planck-Institute". Or via "S-Bahn" S8 or S1 up to "Marienplatz, change into the "U-Bahn" U6 (direction "Klinikum Großhadern") up to "Großhadern" and then take the bus 266 (direction "Planegg") up to "Max-Planck-Institute".

 

By Train

Munich Central Station: Or via "U-Bahn" U1 or U2 up to "Sendlinger Tor", change into the "U-Bahn" U6 (direction "Klinikum Großhadern") up to "Großhadern" and then take the bus 266 (direction "Planegg") up to Max-Planck-Institute". Or via "S-Bahn" S6 up to "Planegg" (direction "Tutzing" or "Starnberg") and then take the bus 266 up to "Max-Planck-Institute".

 

By Car

Coming from Autobahn Nürnberg (A9): Take exit Mittlerer Ring West (A99) direction "Lindau / Garmisch". Once A99 intersects with Autobahn Lindau (A96) follow A96 direction "München Zentrum / Garmisch". Take exit 36b "Gräfelfing". In Gräfelfing turn left onto "Würmtalstraße" (direction "Großhadern"). Then turn right after approx. 1.5 km and follow the signs to "Max-Planck-Institute".

 

Coming from Autobahn Stuttgart (A8): Exit Autobahn A8 and follow A99 direction "Lindau / Garmisch". Once A99 intersects with Autobahn Lindau (A96) follow A96 direction "München Zentrum / Garmisch". Take exit 36b "Gräfelfing". In Gräfelfing turn left onto "Würmtalstraße" (direction "Großhadern"). Then turn right after approx. 1.5 km and follow the signs to "Max-Planck-Institute".

 

Coming from Autobahn Salzburg or from Autobahn Garmisch: Take the exit "München-Fürstenried" and turn right, direction "Neuried". Then turn left after 500 m onto "Neurieder Straße" and after an approx. 1 km take the "Graubündener Straße" on the right. After another 3 km turn left onto "Würmtalstraße" (direction "Großhadern"). Now turn left after approx. 1 km and follow the signs to "Max-Planck-Institute".
