- Principles for the handling of research data
The Alliance of German Science Organisations has adopted common principles for the handling of research data. The aim is the professional handling of digital data through sustainable archiving as well as development of technical infrastructures and service ranges. The provision and re-use of research data is to be ensured by means of standardized data collection, documentation and adequate additional information. The common principles take into consideration not only the differences between the scientific disciplines but also the protection of researcher rights as well as the requirements of general data protection.
