Publication data submission

All publications of our institutes have to be entered into eDoc, the publication platform of the Max Planck Society.
http://www.edoc.mpg.de
Not only published documents can be found in eDoc but also journal articles, conference papers, inbooks and books that have already been accepted for publication.
The scientists have to submit the publication data to the secretariat of their research group or directly to the library.

About the eDoc server

The eDoc server provides a unique entry point to the accumulated research output of the Max Planck Society. Institutes of the Max Planck Society are invited by the president to use the eDoc -Server to collect their scientific documents in digital form, manage their publication data and to increase the visibility of their digital collections. Via eDoc, scientists can make their work openly accessible online with the technological and institutional backing of the Max Planck Society.
In collaboration with the MPIs, the Heinz Nixdorf Center for Information Management in the Max Planck Society will further extend the eDoc platform to contribute to a worldwide, emerging scholarly communication system, which exploits the full potential of the internet and the digital representation and processing of scientific information.

Institutional Repository

The following links lead to the Institutional Repository of the MPI Biochemistry and the MPI Neurobiology where you can find the publications sorted by year.
If the full text of the publication is available, the right-hand side of the entry is marked with "Full text / Content available". After clicking the latter the expanded data record of the publication is obtained. A further link in the last line leads to the full text PDF file.
The buttonsfx_button means that the article has been published in a journal covered by a license agreement with the Max Planck Society (MPG); the full text can only be downloaded inside the MPG.
